This weekend, while I was down with viral and struggling to resume my health, I got caught up in another nuisance, i.e. boredom. Yes, it can be super boring to be sick on a Saturday, if you are a bachelor, staying away from home and when all your friends are occupied. Well I qualified on all of the aforementioned parameters. I had a sore throat, aching body and exceptionally bad temper. So, to divert myself; I scouted through the contents of my blue fashion bags Mumbai, which I had not used for some time. The only item of interest amongst a pool of junk and memories was a Sony 16 GB pen drive. I couldn’t remember why I put it there, so out of curiosity I decided to check out its content. And! It was full of movies that I didn’t have the heart to delete, and my laptop just refused to store anymore of them. So, amongst a bunch of already watched movies, I instinctively clicked on ‘The Confessions of a shopaholic’. It was for three reasons, I had kind of forgotten the storyline, the thumbnail was interesting and I was super bored to watch any thought provoking highbrow stuff.
Well I’m not here to write a review for a movie so old. So all I would say is that it was quite good. It was all giggles and “Hmm I know how you feel girl!” expression throughout the 105 minutes. As I was watching, and all that fuss was about that ‘Green Scarf’ in the movie, I noticed that the movie actually featured loads and loads of adorable beautiful bags, which nobody cared to highlight. What an injustice, I thought to myself, and I reviewed all the scenes where ‘Isla Fisher’ carried an interesting purse. Amidst those, I just fell in love with an extremely horrendously sexy red bag. I just had to have it. It was as if a wanderer had achieved an aim, I exhaustively scouted through websites after websites in a vain attempt to find what I yearned for. Well only a woman can relate to this feeling, when you desperately want some piece of art. You technically become blind to all the good and even better things around you, unless you find what you want. Nonetheless, somehow I managed to notice a clutch at Alexander McQueen accessories India website; I guess it was because of the color. I was snapped out of my trance just to fall in another one. Boy! It was classy! All that gold and glitter with an intrinsically designed buckle right at the wedge of the flap. What woman wouldn’t be enchanted by it? Well, I was and needless to say I ordered it then and there; and for you ladies, it is a MUST WATCH movie and definitely an adorable collection. So, what are you waiting for, Check it out!
